
Contemporary Dance
It is a dance form developed in the USA and Germany at the beginning of the 20th century. Contemporary Dance, emerged as a new expression form in the field of dance has been strengthened by many different dance artists and different movement methods used day by day and expanded its performative range.
Unlike the Classical Ballet, in this dance form where we move with bare feet; Participants experience being able to stay in the flow and move organically by leaving the body relaxed with "Body Awareness" in the combination of space-body-movement.
In the courses you will learn; Irmgard Bartenieff and Rudolf Laban, floor work technique, basic ballet technique, stretching, coordination , conditioning exercises, and movement connections; we learn techniques at ground, middle and foot level.
Improvisation exercises are also carried out in later levels.
Our Contemporary Dance group lessons are 75 minutes 1 day a week.
We have beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. Our classes are held with a maximum of 6 people.
